Born in Berkeley, California, but raised in Yonkers, New York, with five brothers, Rose Rollins has seemingly conquered both coasts when you also throw in her Hollywood acting career. From debuting as recurring character Suzanne on The West Wing in 1999, the sexy sweet thing has only gone on to even bigger television series roles as Victoria in In Justice in 2006, Daisy Ogbaa in Chase in 2010-2011, as Detective Kiz Rider in the 2015 Amazon Prime series Bosch, in network series The Catch as Valerie Anderson in 2016-2017, and as Eva Piper in Condor in 2020, with brief spots in-between in CSI: NY, Southland, and Nikita. On the silver screen, she was Tawnee in Undisputed (2002), Ellie in Mission: Impossible III (2006), and the voice of the White House Secretary in Pixels (2015). And her skinematic debut? The Showtime series that has given us so very much to admire: The L Word. Rockin’-bod Rose gave us lots of skintillating scenes as Tasha Williams, secret lover of Leisha Hailey’s character Alice Pieszecki. Although not as forthcoming with her assets as some of the other actresses who have come on the show, we absolutely do get to admire Rose’s fine form in several episodes. In one particular memorable moment, Tasha and Alice rock against each other and indulge in a toe-sucking, ass-licking, body-worshipping, finger-utilizing, steamy romp—that surprisingly (read: annoyingly) doesn’t reveal as much of Rose as we would like. Fortunately, a second scene in bed has the seductive starlet sleeping post-coital and we get a short, but oh-so-sweet view of very vivacious peaks. Thank you, once again, The L Word.
